Life is full of ups and downs, seasons of joy and seasons of pain. We all need a place to share our struggles, wants, and needs. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and specialize in working with women who are experiencing depression, challenges with self-worth or self-image, anxiety, addiction, and relational conflict. You do not have to be alone in your struggles. I am here to walk with you and support you, no matter your situation or outlook. My purpose as your counselor is to help you manage the burdens of expectations, disappointments, and fears that are weighing you down.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Auburn University. Before pursuing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I worked in the corporate medical field and also worked specifically with adolescents. Through my work with young people, I began to feel the need for more knowledge and training in order to better serve those in need of mental health care. While completing my Masters degree, I counseled women who were part of a program focused on physical, social, spiritual, and psychological recovery and change.
My therapeutic approach is to provide space where you feel heard, valued, and understood. I believe that YOU are the expert on your life and will seek to come alongside you to encourage and strengthen you in your journey. I will create a place for you to find healing from past hurts and achieve fulfillment in your current circumstances. I am committed to helping you grow and will empower you to feel confidence, contentment, and joy in your work, family life, and view of self. It is an honor for me to get to be a part of your journey and I look forward to meeting with you!
